As part of our continuing drive to improve membership benefits, we are now proud to offer the following to all those who join up as members;

MEMBERSHIP "WELCOME" PACK

A "Welcome" Pack is sent out to all NEW members within 14 days of receipt of their payment. This includes many important documents including your welcome letter, a welcome brochure, Regional Officer Contact List, Club Merchandise Sheet, Club Flyer, your official club Membership Card, a club windscreen sticker and the latest XK8 Parts Catalogue and flyer produced by SNG Barratt.

QUARTERLY "DIGITAL" MAGAZINE

Entitled GROWLER the club's "digital" magazine is a quarterly publication which has over 50 pages of technical articles, features on club events, company profiles, members stories, club news and more. Latest edition out now is September 2018. Next issue due out in December 2018.

INSURANCE DISCOUNTS

Four club discount car insurance schemes have been set up with leading car insurance companies Adrian Flux Insurance Services, Footman James and Classic Line. All have considerable experience with insuring XKs.

“Adrian Flux Insurance Services are pleased to announce their association with the XK8 / XKR Enthusiasts Club and all those connected with the marquee. They welcome all models in the XK8 / XKR range and are able to cover young drivers and convicted drivers. Their specialist schemes enable them to provide very competitive premiums and added benefits such as free legal cover and breakdown cover”.

The XKEC Club is pleased to announce that it has negotiated a deal with specialist insurance broker, Footman James, securing special insurance discounts for club members. XKEC Club members will be entitled to discounts on their classic car insurance through Footman James, and can also take advantage of special rates on their modern everyday car, classic and modern motorcycle and home and contents cover too. FJ works closely with classic vehicle clubs across the country, and now of course, has partnered with the XKEC, so has a pretty good idea what classic vehicle owners and XKEC members want when it comes to insurance.

MEMBERS ONLY CHAT FORUM

Our exclusive member’s-only chat forum can only be accessed by authorised members with valid logins and passwords. Created back in 2004 it contains a mixture of fun and more serious technical matters. The forum is a great way of seeking answers to any problems you may have or simply speaking to other members in general. Known as the "XK Bible" by our members there are now well over 314,000 messages posted on the forum, with some 34,000 topics being discussed.

TECHNICAL AND PARTS ADVICE IMMEDIATELY AT HAND

We have an "In-house" Technical Advice Team and Parts Advice Team on hand to answer any queries members may have.

ANNUAL CALENDAR OF EVENTS

We aim to provide a varied calendar of club events/tours/social gatherings throughout each year across the whole of the UK for members and their families to enjoy. Our past UK tours have included: Wales (2005), Cornwall (2006), Isle of Wight (2007). Lake District (2008 and 2010) and Scottish Highlands (2010), Isle of Wight (2014), Perthshire (2016) and Cornwall (2016).

Although our activities are mainly UK orientated we also arrange many overseas tours. So far we have been to France 2005 (Montreuil), France 2007 (Reims), Normandy (France) 2011, France (Somme Battlefields) 2012, Northern France (2014), The Somme (2014), North West Spain (2014) and the Netherlands (2015). In 2016 we completed an Alsace Tour in France and in 2017 we have undertaken tours of Northern Ireland and Northern Spain. In 2018 we have already undertaken a South West Mystery tour and an Isle of Wight Tour.

CLASSIFIEDS

We have a Classifieds section on our website where many members and non-members XKs come up for sale. Although this service is free to fully paid up members, there is a small cost to non members.

E-NEWSLETTERS

We provide periodic electronic newsletters via E-mail to members in order to bring them up-to-date on all club and XK related matters.

DISCOUNTS

We offer members the opportunity of receiving 10-15% discount on all parts acquired over the counter in selected UK Jaguar dealerships and members also receive other discounts on parts supplied by many other performance related companies. Again proof of membership will be required with their membership card.

MODEL REGISTERS

A variety of Model Registers have been created within the club to retain data on all the XKs ever produced by Jaguar. These are maintained and updated by our officially appointed Register Coordinators and will be used for future historical purposes. Further details can be found on the Members only area of the website.

MERCHANDISE

We provide our own club merchandise including a wide range of clothing, annual Calendars, Keyrings, paper weights etc.
