SOUTH EAST BREAKFAST MEET 31 August 2019

An unexpected last minute change of venue this one but a great turn out all the same.

15 cars attended in total at The Hotel 7 Diner in Badgers Mount.

Good food and location.

EAST MIDLANDS BREAKFAST MEET 24th August 2019

Despite the absence of ten regular attendees there was a record turnout in August with 32 for breakfast in 20 XK & F-Type cars. One XKEC member even travelled the 150 miles from Lowestoft. Obviously the 28 degrees plus a bank holiday weekend influenced the record turnout.
After breakfast a convoy of 10 cars left for a visit to the Belvoir Castle Engine Yard, including an impromptu tour of Barrow Upon Soar.

FAA MUSEUM BREAKFAST MEET 24th August 2019

Another good turn out of members at our popular monthly breakfast meet at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

FENLAND WINGS AND WHEELS 11th August 2019

Nice little show in Lincolnshire with quite a good selection of vehicles and bikes.

Shame about the weather, still quite windy, stopped a few aircraft and model aircraft flying.

HERNE BAY CLASSIC CAR SHOW 11th August 2019

A great day at the Herne Bay Classic car show in Kent. A very relaxing day in nice weather and located right on the seafront.
Lots of food, talk and laughter as usual and great to see many more other members who weren't on display who came along to the show and came over to say hello and sit with us.

AV8 BREAKFAST MEET 10th August 2019

Well not the best day to be re-introduced to the AV8 Cafe in Cirencester! Rain, strong winds and having to park at the back made it a little more challenging than it might have been!
Still the roof stayed on, members all got breakfast and it was good to see some new faces amongst the attendees.

YORKSHIRE BREAKFAST MEET 10th August 2019

A nice turn out of members at our Yorkshire monthly breakfast meet at the Brewers Fayre in Wakefield despite some bad weather. Thanks to all those who attended.

ESSEX EVENING MEAL 5th August 2019

A new event this one for our Essex members. An inaugural meet at South Hanningfield. A great trip out and venue was first class for parking, food and service! We're making this a ‘once a month’ meet through May-Sept so encourage all our Essex members to participate.

ANGLIAN EVENING MEAL 6th August 2019

Some of our Anglian members got together to enjoy a North Norfolk coastal drive and pub evening meal.

They all met up for tea and home made cake in one of the members houses before a drive out to Ludham.

Next stop was The Hill house at Happisburgh and a stroll to the eroding Happisburgh coastline and it's famous lighthouse. It was then finally onto The Thurne Lion Inn for the club evening meal, via a further drive around the coast to Cromer.

HELMINGHAM FESTIVAL OF CLASSIC AND SPORTS CARS 4th August 2019

A superb display of our members cars at this great annual family show.
Members enjoyed over 1000 exhibiting cars, displays in the main arena, trade & craft stalls, live music, the Grade I Listed Gardens & great local food & drink stalls. Thanks to everyone who came along,

TEMPLE NEWSAM CLASSIC CAR SHOW 3rd August 2019

Great day out in aid of a fantastic cause! Hundreds of visitors attended this popular Yorkshire based show.

ANGLIAN SUNDAY AFTERNOON TEA 28th July 2019

Our Anglian regional members got together to enjoy a Sunday afternoon high tea at a local specialist rose nursery, close to Attleborough in Norfolk.
As well as the afternoon tea members had the chance to have a look round their extensive gardens & displays.

SILVERSTONE CLASSIC 26th-28th July 2019

Despite the wet weather this event attracted record grids, car club attendees and some 109,000 spectators over the whole weekend..

A total of 21 spine-tingling retro races, countless off-track entertainment, packed car club displays and iconic anniversary parades elevated this event to the world’s biggest classic car motor racing event.

FLEET AIR ARM BREAKFAST MEET 27th July 2019

Due to the Silverstone Classic event being held on the same day numbers were slightly lower this month at this event but all those who did turn up enjoyed the days breakfast as usual.

LINCOLNSHIRE EVENING MEET 18th July 2019

Our Lincolnshire members gathered together for their evening meet at The Red Lion in Revesby. They were delighted to Welcome their guests Seb Davey, the BBMF Lancaster Pilot, his co-Pilot, air engineer and the Dakota pilot.

KIMBOLTON COUNTRY FAYRE AND CAR SHOW 14th July 2019

Our Home Counties regional club display at the Kimbolton Car Show in Cambridgeshire.

Great day out for all the family.

COTSWOLD RUN AND SUNDAY LUNCH AT DUMBLETON HALL 14th July 2019

What a glorious day for our Western shires region with a drive around the Cotswold countryside through beautiful villages with 17 cars and then finishing in the grounds of the magnificent Dumbleton Hall for a 3 course meal.

WHITSTABLE CLASSIC CAR SHOW 14th July 2019

What a day at Whitstable car show, 17 cars on our club stand and everyone enjoyed some lovely weather along with some lovely cakes, sweets and some great laughs and company under and around the gazebo. Thank you to everyone who joined us. A great day out as always
