Nice group of 13 members for our latest East Anglian breakfast meeting with lots of chat and laughter. As usual it was held at the Breckland Lodge in Attleborough, Norfolk,
Another enjoyable evening meet at The Red Lion, Revesby in Lincolnshire. Good food as usual and great company
On Sunday 14th August some of our Essex members attended the Saffron Walden Motor Show in Essex. A good show but so hot! Temperatures raised to 30 degrees. Thanks to all members who attended.
Well despite the heat and a frantically busy Saturday, with a wedding party following members into the Trouble House, our eclectic group of conversation addicts had a lovely morning of banter and
breakfast. As ever Jacqui and the team looked after members well and no-one was going to go home hungry or thirsty!
A great evening once again with our South East members at our monthly meet at The Moody Mare in Mereworth in Kent. Lovely atmosphere, food, drink and company.
What a great day our Anglian members had at their picnic at Whitlingham Lake in Norfolk. 19 people turned up for the picnic and the weather was really great.
A great day out for our club members at the Helmingham Classic Car Festival in Suffolk. Superb weather, live music, beer tent, food stands and hundreds of vehicles made it a very enjoyable event. Thanks to everyone who joined us on our club stand.
Another great evening meal for our Anglian regional members at The Acle Inn in Norwich.
A great turn out from members which included refreshments and a tour of their complex. An impressive building with workshop, sales area, storage and restoration departments. For the occasion, a number of Jaguars were on display in the foyer including an XJS, Mark II, F-Type Coupe, E-Types, X300 and a C Type. Later on a Lister Jaguar appeared outside the front entrance which attracted much attention.
Some of our South East members undertook a Kent Drive Day event starting with beautiful weather at the Great Danes Hotel near Bearsted. Members then drove off in convoy taking in many picturesque Kent and East Sussex villages, countryside and coastal roads finishing with a “Fish & Chip" dinner at The Brittania Inn at Dungeness.
A great evening meet again at The Red Lion in Revesby for some of our Lincolnshire/Rutland regional members. Food and chat was up to the usual standard.
Another great turnout for the Anglian regional July breakfast meeting at The Breckland Lodge.
Twenty people, including some new faces, who were made to feel welcome, and a very good number of Jags too ..... 12 in total.
Very enjoyable weekend for our Western Shires members at the Shelsley Walsh Nostalgia event. Lots going on for all the family including car displays, trade stands, hill racing etc.
Another excellent turn out from Essex members to our first visit to Tiptree Jam Factory (Wilkin & Son Ltd) in Essex. 16 x XK8s/Rs and F-Types were on display.
Fantastic evening as our South East members gathered together for their regular monthly evening meet at The Moody Mare in Mereworth. Members even got the chance to sit outside for a wonderful sunset evening.
A great day out for members at the Baston Car & Bike show at Grimsthorpe Castle. Plenty to see and do in the glorious sunshine. Plenty of food, music, bits and pieces for sale and of course lots of vehicles of all types
