Email: westernshires@xkec.co.uk

Areas covered: Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, South Worcestershire, Monmouthshire, Staffordhshire and Shropshire.

Greetings to all XKEC members and friends, my name is Trevor Hodgetts. I am the Western Shires Regional Officer, I live in the shadow of the Malvern Hills with my wife Diane, our Jag is a Carnival Red X 100 Coupe built in 1996.

At Western Shires, we are a very interactive group with all members having equal input as to our varied event calendar. We do not have a designated monthly meeting place, but choose different locations around the Western Shires area. This year, such days as a Cotswold drive and picnic, tour of Cotswold Distillery at Shipston on Stour and local hill climb days, all kindly organised by various members of the group. This is in addition to the normal calendar events at Western Shires.

We are a very friendly bunch and if advice is requested, usually one of the group can help. To any XK/XKR enthusiasts in the area, if you would like to come along to any of our events, you would be made very welcome. Safe and enjoyable Jaguar motoring to you all.

A Breakfast meet normally takes place every second Saturday of each month at 09.30/10.00am at :

The Trouble House Inn, London Road, Tetbury, GL8 8SG.

This is on the main road towards Tetbury and is just as convenient for everyone inbound from all different points of the compass.

As ever everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there. The arrival time is from 09:00 with most folk getting there for about 09:30. For further details contact XKEC Member Alan Richell on email alan.richell@gmail.com
Although we meet at various venues, this is a place we've been to several times as the food is great!
The Duke of York Country Pub:
A bustling old country pub with two spic-and-span linked rooms, beams, nooks and crannies and log fire, welcoming friendly staff, good food from baguettes up including daily fresh fish, well kept Wye Valley and a guest ale, restaurant; big garden behind, handy for Malvern Hills.
