Enjoyable club breakfast in some scorching temperatures at The Toby Carvery in Badgers Mount in Kent. We even had a member bring along his very prestine 1997 XK8 convertible in Titanium Grey which was initially one of the cars owned by the Sultan of Brunei and today has just 9,300 miles on the clock. It looked as though it had just come off the factory floor.
A superb turn out of over 20 cars on our club stand at the JAGFEST event held at Hole Park in Kent. Weather was on and off all day but a great day was had by one and all. Throughout the day members congregated around the club gazebo and enjoyed lots of fun and laughter as always.
On Sunday 9th June 2019 a group of our members were taken on a visit to the Bluebell Railway based in Sussex. The day began at Sheffield Park station before heading off for a special silver
service lunch and a 3 hour journey (22 mile round trip) through the beautiful Sussex Weald countryside.
With members all dressed up in their 1920s attire it made the perfect setting. Members boarded the 1920s Golden Arrow Pullman Car which once linked London and Paris and was one of the most glamorous
and famous trains in the world with its unique wall panel marquetry and plush seating. Once on board members enjoyed fine food and wine served to the standards of yesteryear. Here are just a few of
the images taken on the day.
