FLEET AIR ARM MUSEUM BREAKFAST MEET - 28th July 2018

Another good turn out of members at this popular monthly breakfast meet.

SILVERSTONE CLASSIC - 20th-22nd July 2018

A brilliant event with lots of car displays, family attractions, track racing, trade stands, live music and much more.

Loads for all the family and access to all areas.

Members also enjoyed our clubs special 15th anniversary parade lap around the circuit early Saturday evening before the UB40 concert.

WEETING STEAM ENGINE RALLY AND COUNTRY SHOW - 21st July 2018

Members enjoyed a fascinating and nostalgic family day out at the Weeting Steam Engine Rally and Country Show. The show featured parades of steam traction engines, steam lorries, vintage tractors, heavy horse and fire engines.

There were also static displays of vintage cars, classic cars, motorbikes, stationary engines, military vehicles and many other superb exhibits.

LINCOLNSHIRE MONTHLY MEET - 19th July 2018

Once more an excellent evening of food, drink and discussion at the Red Lion in Revesby, Lincolnshire.

WHITSTABLE CLASSIC CAR SHOW - 15th July 2018

A beautiful day at Whitstable Car show up on Tankerton Slopes in Kent overlooking the sea. Members enjoyed much laughter, conversation and superb picnics amongst a very ideallic setting in beautiful sunshine.

AV8 BREAKFAST MEET - 14th July 2018

A good turnout of 15 cars at this popular monthly breakfast meet at the AV8 cafe in Cirencester.

"CALL THE MIDWIFE" TOUR AT CHATHAM DOCKYARD - 8th July 2018

A nice turn out of members cars at Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent. Members enjoyed "Call the Midwife" and "Ropery" tours as well as a very enjoyable picnic in the shade of beautiful sunshine.

KIMBOLTON COUNTRY FAYRE & CAR SHOW - 8th July 2018

Great day out at this popular annual event with good company, good food and plenty of sunshine.
Show was very well organised with plenty going on for everyone, even a Spitfire fly past thrown in.

DERBY CHARITY CLASSIC CAR SHOW - 8th July 2018

A great meeting and catch up for members on a very hot day at the Charity Classic Car & Retro show in Derby. 10 Cars were in attendance on our display stand.

SOUTHERN AREA BREAKFAST MEET - 7th July 2018

A good turnout once again at this popular meet at Fairoaks Airfield in Surrey.

DARLING BUDS OF MAY CAR SHOW - 1st July 2018

A nice gathering of members at this Kent based show held at the film location of the old TV show by the same name. Great convoy, company, food, music, cars and lots of fun and laughter all the way.

BASTON CAR AND BIKE SHOW - 1st July 2018

A very popular annual show held in Lincolnshire and attended by members of the XKEC.

Great weather, food and company all day long.

FAA MUSEUM MEET AND BBQ - 23rd June 2018

Members gathered once again at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Somerset before then convoying off to a BBQ by kind invitation of the JDC at the Post Inn at Whiddon Down.

LINCS MONTHLY MEET - 21st June 2018

Another good turnout, this time at our Lincolnshire monthly meet at The Red Lion in Revesby, Lincolnshire.

BROMLEY PAGEANT - 17th June 2018

Members returned once again to this very popular annual show at Norman Park in Bromley Kent. We had 20 cars on our stand and the weather managed to be ok. Thanks to Members Julian and Sue who also provided members with Pimms and strawberries and cream.

FATHERS DAY MOTOR SHOW, YORKSHIRE - 17th June 2018

Great day out at Castle Howard with 9 cars on display. The weather wasn’t great but the rain did hold off at least. A big thank you to all who attended.

LOCKE PARK CLASSIC & CONCOURS RALLY - 10th June 2018

Thanks to everyone who attended this show in Barnsley, Yorkshire. It was a great day with plenty of chat in the glorious Yorkshire sunshine.
Many congratulations to member Robin who came 1st in show in his gorgeous XK8, well done Robin.

GROWLER XV - 8th - 10th June 2018

Over the weekend of 8th-10th June 2018 XKEC members attended our national GROWLER XV event which this year was held in association with XK70 at Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire. In total 123 cars were in our club display amongst the thousands of other Jaguars on display. Over 100 members also enjoyed dinners on both Friday and Saturday nights before ending the weekend with a superb drive tour of the Malvern Hills on the Sunday.
