So we did something a little different with some of our club members getting together with a few other owners from other clubs and having one large car display at Hever Castle in Kent. We had a brilliant day out and our display spread across some 7 decades of cars from an early Austin Healey to modern day McLaren’s, Lamborghini’s, Aston Martins and Porsche’s and of course our XKs.
Our SE members were out and about again, this time at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring at Norman Park in Kent. Great weather and superb picnics brought by everyone. Lovely time was had by all. We also saw TV personality and motorcycle enthusiast Henry Cole filming for a forthcoming series.
Despite some wet weather our club members had a great time at the Sandringham Pageant of Motoring event in Norfolk. There were lots of cars present as well as live music, trade stands etc. We even laid on two displays of red, white and blue cars as a tribute. A fine way to celebrate the final day of the Jubilee Celebrations at one of the Queen's country retreats.
